Volunteer Opportunities
Catholic Engaged Encounter is a non-profit organization and is an entirely volunteer-driven ministry. We are always in need of volunteers to help and we need you to make it happen. It takes a large team to keep the organization working, with many couples working behind the scenes to handle business and logistics that make our weekends succeed.
Engaged Encounter needs your assistance for:
Team presenting couples: These are the teams that share their marriage experience to the engaged couples on the weekend.
Greeting couples: These teams greet all of our engaged couples and help them get settled in on Friday evening.
Prayer couples: These teams pray for the all the engaged couples, presenting teams and religious on the weekend.
Couples possessing a variety of skills:
- Those interested in promoting EE through parish/priest contact or via other forms of media, ie. radio, TV, newspapers.
- Those interested in creating print or email newsletters and assisting with mailings and confirmation letters.
- Those in making phone calls, scheduling, tracking supplies, registration, web updates and computer work.
As you can see we draw on a wide variety of talents and your commitment is based on your availability and is flexible.
